EG Industries Berhad ("EG") was first listed on the KLSE in 1993 under the name of Dai-Ichi Industries Berhad with two subsidiaries - Dai-Ichi Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd ("Dai-Ichi") & Dynamic Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd ("Dynamic"), both are speaker and speaker system manufacturers.
Today EG is specializing In provision of electronic manufacturing services ("EMS") to the electronics, electrical and telecommunication products through its two wholly owned subsidiaries - SMT Technologies Sdn Bhd ("SMTT") and EG Wireless Sdn Bhd ("EGW"). EG also has another subsidiary - Mastimber Industries Sdn Bhd ("Mastimber") manufactures the 2-layer solid wood parquet flooring.
